Privacy Policy
Effective date: June 18, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Daniel Marcus, doing business as Reciprocal Interactive ("Reciprocal Interactive," "we," "us," or "our"), handles information in connection with the website at reciprocalinteractive.com (the "Site"). Our products have their own privacy policies; for example, the FriendsConnect privacy policy describes data handling for that product.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us. The Site does not currently include account registration or web forms. If you contact us by email (for example, at info@reciprocalinteractive.com), we receive your email address and whatever information you choose to include in your message.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically records standard server logs when you visit — such as your IP address, browser type, referring page, and the date and time of your request. We use these logs only to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the Site.
Cookies and analytics. The Site does not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. If we add analytics or other cookies in the future, we will update this policy and, where required, request your consent.
2. How we use information
- To respond to your inquiries and provide support;
- To operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Site;
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
3. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share limited information with service providers who help us operate the Site (such as our web host), and as required by law or to protect our rights. These providers are permitted to use your information only to perform services for us.
4. Data retention
We keep email correspondence for as long as needed to address your inquiry and for our reasonable business and legal records, and we retain server logs for a limited period consistent with normal hosting practices.
5. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you, or to object to certain processing — for example, under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) or the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). To make a request, email info@reciprocalinteractive.com. We will respond as required by applicable law. We do not sell personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of in that respect.
6. Children's privacy
The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.
7. Security
We take reasonable measures to protect information, including serving the Site over HTTPS. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Effective date" above.
